Instructor: Amanda Humphreys

Amanda will guide you through the entire process of learning how to make pottery on the wheel. This includes wedging clay, centering, pulling up, making cups, mugs, handles, bowls, vases, trimming your work, and glazing it. For intermediate students, surface treatment techniques, throwing larger forms, lidded jars, and more will be taught! Your first bag of clay, pottery tool kit, and 8 weeks of studio time are all included.

This is a 6-week instructor -led course/open studio followed by 2 weeks of open studio time. Each sequential course will take place on the following week on the same day/time.

*Class will be skipped the week of April 11th. This class will be made up on April 18th.
