Instructor: Maggie Connolly
Former Arrowmont Artist in Residence Maggie Connolly will draw from her education in Chinese and Japanese ceramics to teach students new approaches to surface textures and an introduction to glaze chemistry. Focus will be on material understanding, come prepared to do lots of testing. All students will receive one 25lb bag of clay included in class price. This class is open to Returning students only – experience with clay required.

This is a 6-week course. Each sequential course will take place on the following week on the same day/time.
